Data processing purposes
We will process your personal data for the following purposes:
- to provide you with this website and to further improve this website
- to be able to create usage statistics
- to be able to detect, prevent and investigate attacks on our website
- to respond to your requests
- to possibly subscribe you to the newsletter
Legal bases of the processing
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our overriding legitimate interest (pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit f EU General Data Protection Regulation), which is to achieve the purposes stated above under point 5.
Transmission of your personal data
For the above purposes, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipients:
Google Maps and Google Fonts (excluding your IP address): Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Some of the recipients listed above are located outside of your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in your country. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or with which agreements exist that ensure an adequate level of data protection.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. We process your data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in creating easy-to-use website access statistics in a cost-effective manner (Art 6 (1) (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the websites accessed) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We do not store any of your data collected in connection with Google Analytics.
This website uses the IP anonymization option offered by Google Analytics. Your IP address is therefore shortened/anonymized by Google as soon as Google receives your IP address. On our behalf, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent Google from collecting your data in connection with Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Within our online offer, so-called “Facebook pixels” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), are used. With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our offer as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called “Facebook Ads”. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our Internet offer. This means that with the help of the Facebook pixel we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.
The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you call up our websites and can save a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, the visit to our offer will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not offer us any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook’s data usage policy. Accordingly, for more information on how the remarketing pixel works and generally how Facebook ads are displayed, please see Facebook’s Data Use Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data to display Facebook ads. To do so, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare the objection via the US page http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our pages. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram.

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request

This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
Duration and storage
We will generally store your data for a period of three months. Longer storage only takes place insofar as this is necessary to investigate detected attacks on our website.
If you register in writing or on our website, we will store your data in any case for as long as your account exists and thereafter for only as long as legal obligations require.
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us.
